Topic: Mastering CDC w/ Jason Haddix

CDC feathers offer the angler/tier a great deal of properties of movement, durability and versatility in one amazing package. It is a material that can add life, motion and even trap tiny air bubbles around both dries and nymphs. All of these great added values aside this little feather can have inherent challenges to work with that require some specific techniques along the path to mastery.

In this class we will attempt to cover not only the attributes of the feather, but a list of specific skills that will lead to better overall techniques with this feather. Our focus will include a variety of skills to apply to both dries and nymphs. These skills will include using the feathers as collars, dry fly/emerger wings and split thread loop style techniques.
