James Parker

Meet the heart and soul of Arbor Anglers—an outdoor enthusiast with over 40 years of experience and a lifelong passion for fly fishing and adventure. Born in Texas to two Navy veterans, James was raised with a deep respect for the outdoors and a love for fishing that began everywhere from quiet farm tanks to expansive coastal waters. His fly‑fishing journey took shape across Nebraska creeks, Texas backwaters, and coastal estuaries throughout the South, where he chased a wide variety of saltwater species along the Texas and Florida coasts. That passion eventually led him west, where James fell in love with trout fishing and spent countless days exploring Colorado’s breathtaking rivers and streams. From intimate alpine waters to some of the most iconic fisheries in the country, he has dedicated his life to learning these waters and refining his craft. James brought his love of fishing to the big screen when he appeared on Survivor.
